La consulta popular frente a la intervención estatal en materia minera

The present article analyses how the interventionist dynamic of the Colombian State in economic activities has inuence the increase of popular consultations on mining issues. This is presented as an instrument through which the community confronts the disproportionate release of mining titles that do not have the participation requirement of the aected or benefted community. Moreover, there are some strategies proposed that the State should adopt in order to guarantee the common wellbeing and the general interest according to the constitutional purposes of guiding the economy under sustainable development parameters.
