Intelectualidad étnica. Propuesta teórico-metodológica de un objeto de indagación

This article offers a theoretical-methodological proposal around the concept of ethnic intellectuality. It suggests a theoretical model defining the object as a typology with three conceptual variants. The variants or subtypes are aimed at identifying trends of social behavior instead of fixed classifications of subjects. These are defined as intellectuality, cultural administration and intelligentsia. The proposal is inspired by two field studies carried out in Mexico and Chile that addressed the Purhepecha and Aymara cases, respectively.
