Aplicativos de transporte de passageiros como Uber e 99 em Belo Horizonte: uso e características dessas plataformas

This article analyzes the characteristics of transport applications (such as Uber and 99) used in the municipality of Belo Horizonte (MG), as well as the experiences of users of these platforms during the travel, in order to point out the reasons for the increased use of this technology. Other points examined include the development and the expansion of these platforms. Collecting and analyzing the data made it possible to understand all this process. The level of security during the usage of the service was one of the best-evaluated factors by the users. Lastly, through the conducted research, especially through the information supplied by users of transport applications, the motivations and advantages that led such passengers to use this service in certain periods are highlighted.
