This text aims to report the pedagogical musical experience experienced in the pífano workshop for childrem from nine to twelve years. The pífano workshop was a discipline of comunity musical practices project of SESC Casa Amarela in partnership with the Musical School Severina Lira. The theoretical foundation was based on the musical pedagogy (FONTERRADA, 2008) (MATEIRO; ILARI, 2011), in the pífano like musicalizer instrument, performer (CUERVO, 2009) and the collective teaching of instruments (BARBOSA, 1997), in the room evaluations (PERRENOUD, 1999).
