The economic burden of these diseases imposed on families makes the situation even worse. Health system policymakers need to be aware of the costs of these diseases to make wise decisions regarding the allocation of resources. The present study aimed to estimate the economic burden of cardiovascular disease in selected hospitals in Yazd.
