Therefore, the purpose of this study was to assess the correlation between cultural capital and social health in Tehran, Iran. Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted on a sample of citizens in Tehran, Iran, in 2019. Multi-stage cluster sampling method was used to collect data using an standard questionnaire. Descriptive analyses were applied for exploring the data. A P value less than 0.05 was considered as statistical significance. Results: In all 384 citizens were entered into the study. The results showed that the mean social health among the citizens of Tehran was equal to 2.87, which was slightly lower than average. Among the components of social health, social adaptation with 3.10 had the highest and the social participation with 2.66 had the lowest average. Only 40% of participants reported the level of cultural capital as much and very much. There was a positive and direct relationship between cultural capital and social health (Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.417). Conclusion: The findings indicated that the average score of social health among the citizens of Tehran was equal to the average score and was positively correlated with cultural capital.
