Despite the long history of Iran's membership in the Asian Productivity Organization (since 1965), Iran has not paid much attention to the issue of productivity and establishing close and active relationship with the organization, except for in the recent years. However, in recent years, fairly effective steps in promoting the concept of productivity and the creation of more active relationships with the Asian Productivity Organization have been taken. This change in focus can be for many reasons, but the most important reason can be the change in political economy and the establishment of a new world order. In order to expand these activities National Iranian Productivity Organization (NIPO) was established in 1993, that close planning for the promotion of the concept of productivity and the excellence of productivity culture are from among its achievements
