IASSIST Quarterly Introduction This paper firstly will review the literature with a view to describing the current state of the art of CAI, secondly it will describe a Scottish housing project which used CAPI and consider the quality of data output, and thirdly, it will draw conclusions about the use of CA(P)I on the basis of the authors’ own findings but also placing the discussion in its wider research methodology and research environment context.
