Sistema de informação geográfica na web: estudo de caso do curso de Sistemas de Informação do IFMG - Campus São João Evangelista (SJE)

Para buscar entender a dinâmica, diversidade e movimentacao dos ingressos e egressos do Curso de Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informacao do Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais - Campus Sao Joao Evangelista (IFMG-SJE) e necessario o uso de Sistemas de Informacao Geografica para auxiliar e agilizar o acesso as informacoes e a tomada de decisao dos gestores institucionais. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo projetar e desenvolver um Sistema de Informacao Geografica na Web para acompanhamento dos ingressos e egressos do curso Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informacao do IFMG-SJE. O sistema possibilitou o acompanhamento dos estudantes por semestre, informando de forma objetiva, rapida e visual as turmas, os status e as cidades dos estudantes, atraves de filtros estatisticos e informacoes geograficas. Para a construcao do sistema foi utilizado as linguagens de programacao Web, a API do Google Maps e a base de dados MySQL. Apos o desenvolvimento foram feitos os seguintes testes: unitario, integracao, piloto, e usuario. Os testes revelaram que o sistema teve boa aceitacao por parte dos usuarios, que constataram a relevância do sistema para a instituicao.Palavras-chave: SIG na Web. API do Google Maps. The system finally made it possible to monitor students per semester, objectively, quickly and visually informing student’s classes, status and cities, through statistical filters and geographical information. Web programming languages, the Google Maps API and the MySQL database were used to build the system. After development, the following tests were performed: unit, integration, pilot, and user. After all tests that we have done the system shows that it is working perfectly and it is well accepted by users, who verified the relevance of the system for the institution.Keywords:GIS on the web.
