The article discusses a ‘differentiated approach’ concept for teaching Russian as a foreign language to a group of students from arab countries. Special attention is paid to linguistic and cultural differentiation, differentiation in the level of training students and differentiation in the interests and tendencies of students. it offers various solutions for problems related to the implementation of a differentiated approach in teaching Russian, and practical recommendations for optimizing the educational process.
