Envolvimento sustentável e etnoecologia: reflexões para implementação da educação ambiental

It’s a study about environmental questions, introduced in a holistic context concerning Environmental Education. It searches to alert about damaging consequences accumulated over men developing process, considered as progress, in relation to natural environment. In face of such devastation caused by the current development model, proposes an analysis about the current discussion about preservation, where searches a reflection about the paradigm change from sustainable development to sustainable engagement, considering developing as an antithesis of to engage. In this way, this study intents to propose a rescue of traditional ecological knowledge, used by traditional communities during their appropriation of natural resources, purposing to form subsidy to the development of efficient experiences to the Environment Education.
