Análise Comparativa de Apreensões de Animais Silvestres em Dois Estados da Região Amazônica (Comparative Analysis of the Apprehension of Wild Animals in Two States of the Amazon Region)

O Brasil apresenta a maior biodiversidade do planeta. E, a Amazonia e a regiao que mais colabora para essas estatisticas. Quando se referem aos Animais Silvestres (AS), o interesse por esses datam desde a chegada dos portugueses no Brasil, divulgando para o mundo todo a exuberância que essa regiao possuia. Atualmente, os AS na Amazonia sao muito requisitados na dieta alimentar dessa regiao, em decorrencia da necessidade de ingestao de proteina. Alem disso, a populacao apresenta o habito de ter em posse AS como estimacao. O objetivo deste artigo e de identificar quais AS foram apreendidos, nos estado do Para e Amazonas, e de mostrar tambem a area de atuacao do orgao competente que rege a tematica. Para isso, foi requisitado aos IBAMA dos estados do Para e Amazonas os Relatorio de Auto de Infracao, onde constam os AS apreendidos e as cidades onde houve autuacoes deste Instituto. Deste modo, os resultados apontam que no estado do Para os AS mais apreendidos foram as aves e no Amazonas foram os repteis. Com relacao as cidades de autuacao, em todos os dois estados foram visitadas mais de 50%, porem essas visitas sao esporadicas ao longo dos anos. When referring to Wild Animals (AS), the interest in these are from the arrival of Portuguese in Brazil, disclosing to world all exuberance of this region. Currently, the AS in Amazon are in the d iet of the animals of this region due to the need of protein intake. Besides, the population has the habit to take possession of wild animals as pets. The purpose of this article is to identify which AS were seized in the State of Para and Amazonas. For this, was requested to the Ibama of the States of Para and Amazonas the High Infringement Reports that contain the AS seized and the cities rated by this Institute. The results indicate that in the State of Para the most AS seized were birds and in Amazon region were reptiles. . It was concluded that in the States of Para and Amazonas there are seizures by IBAMA, but they need higher annual frequency of visits. Key words : Wild animals, Amazon, Seizure, Ibama, Illegality.
