Análise Quantitativa e Qualitativa Horária de dados do Radar, TRMM e Estações Meteorológicas na região Amazônica (Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis Hourly Data Radar, TRMM and Weather Stations in the Amazon Region)

Este trabalho apresenta uma comparacao entre os totais horarios e mensais de precipitacao observada, estimada por radar e TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) para as cidades de Santarem, Para (-2o 26’ 35’’ S e -54o 42’ 30’’ W) e Macapa, Amapa (00o 02’ 20’’ N e -51o 03’ 59’’ W). Para a analise dos produtos gerados por radar foi utilizado linguagem Fortran para a conversao em arquivos binarios e depois submetidos a relacao de Z-R para precipitacao convectiva e em seguida confrontados com os registros de precipitacao obtidos pelo sensor do Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) e estacoes de superficie. Foi estudado o padrao da precipitacao nos horarios de atividade convectiva mais intensa na regiao amazonica e o seu comportamento no acumulado mensal compreendendo o periodo chuvoso e seco. Os instrumentos obtiveram registro da precipitacao de forma parecida, onde os maximos e minimos tiveram a mesma localizacao espacial, porem houve superestimativas por parte do radar e subestimativas da precipitacao por parte do TRMM. Abstract This paper presents a comparison between the total hourly and monthly observed precipitation estimated by radar and Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) to the city of Santarem, Para (-2o26'35''S and 54°42'30''W) and Macapa, Amapa (00o02'20''N and -51°03'59''W). For the analysis of the products generated by radar was used Fortran for conversion to binary and then subjected to ZR relationship for convective rainfall, and then faced with the precipitation records obtained by the sensor of the TRMM and stations surface. The rainfall pattern (PRP) at times of intense convective activity over the Amazon region and its behavior in the monthly cumulative comprising the period rainy and dry were studied. The instruments recorded rainfall with similar results, where the maxima and minima have the same spatial location, but there was overestimation by the radar and underestimates the precipitation from the TRMM.
