Formulação de problemas no ensino de números decimais: o recorte de uma experiência

This study was intended to examine the role of a proposed activity of formulating problems as an aid in the learning of students from sixth grade of elementary school (11-12 years old) the Elementary School of the Federal University of Uberlândia, in 2013, through formulation of problems. The activities undertaken were of character of teaching and research, aiming at the verification of student learning and the quality of informing its procedures in drafting, formulation and resolution of problems arising therefrom. The analyses carried out, one can infer that in working with the formulation of problems, the students were agents of their learnings, becoming potential readers and writers in mathematics. The proposals have enabled the development of aspects of the know think mathematical concepts and not only enunciate mathematical formulas.
