This article is part of an ongoing doctoral research, this paper presents the evaluation of virtual learning objects according to the assessment tool proposed by Nesbit (2003). The objective is to analyze the characteristics and contributions of virtual objects in learning math and its importance as a pedagogical tool. To this end, our theoretical framework is based on definitions found in the literature on virtual learning objects, repositories of virtual learning objects and evaluation of educational software. The analyzed objects belong to the repositories BIOE (Bank for International Educational Objects) and CESTA (Collection of Support Entities Use of Technology in Learning), both repositories for free access. The results show that the virtual objects of learning can contribute significantly in improving the learning of our students, which leads us to intensify efforts in the search for alternatives analysis and development of materials that can enhance the learning of our students.
