Bu calismada, literaturde nadiren calisilan konulardan biri olan ucak secimi uzerine odaklanilmistir. Calismanin amaci, farkli ucus agina ve ucus noktasina sahip havayolu sirketleri acisindan en uygun hava aracinin belirlenmesidir. Calismada, sektor uzmanlarinin gorusleri dogrultusunda belirlenen kriterler esas alinarak, ucak tipleri alternatifleri arasinda en uygun ucak tipinin belirlenmesi hedeflenmektedir. Calismada, havayolu sirketleri tarafindan en fazla talep goren 4 ucak tipi arasindan en uygun alternatifin TOPSIS yontemi kullanilarak belirlenmesi amaclanmistir. Calismanin bulgulari TOPSIS yontemine gore en uygun havaaraci tipinin B737-800 oldugunu gostermektedir.
