It was a validation of a simplified, user friendly Newly designed Verbal Autopsy Instrument in Neonates. Reliability varied from 99.74% to 98.48%. The overall diagnostic accuracy was 91.47. The overall agreement of the New tool with the WHO VA tool was 0.576 with P value of .000.
