The conceptual incorporation occurred should mark the individuals in a meaningful way and, to this end, the interweaving of Ausubel's learning theory with the methodology of the investigative communities adopted by Lipman was sought. Working with comic strips and comics is a way of setting the student to the concept, as proposed by Ausubel, since, when viewing the proposed image, the individual rescues memories of their experiences that resemble the situation presented.
