This study performed the radiographic measurement of femoral angles and linear measurements of the hip and femur in 92 intact domestic cats, males and females, mixed breed, from the Center for Zoonosis Control of the Federal District, which showed no trauma, orthopedic diseases, angular deformities, with closed physeal lines. To this end, we measured the angles aLPFA (proximal lateral anatomical angle of the femur), aLDFA (distal lateral anatomical angle of the femur), mLPFA (proximal lateral mechanical angle of the femur), mLDFA (distal lateral mechanical femoral angle of the femur), AI (femoral inclination angle), CF (femoral length) and LQ (hip width) using radiographs in ventrodorsal projection, with both limbs in a single exposure to the beam of X-rays, centered on the hip. The mean values of the angles were: mLPFA: 82.5° ± 3.62, aLPFA: 80.1° ± 4.29; mLDFA: 96.1° ± 3:51 (males) and 97.3° ± 2.05 (females); aLPFA: 136.6° ± 3.86; AI: 136.6° ± 3.86; CF: 136.6° ± 3.86; 12.9cm ± 0.55 (males) and 13.4 ± 0.66cm (females) and LQ: 3.1cm ± 0.23 (males) and 3.5 cm ± 0.26 (females), respectively. These values serve as reference for diagnosis of angular deformities and support for planning corrective osteotomies in domestic cats.
