This dissertation is the result of an in-depth analysis of the procedural aspects and conceptual aspects of my artistic research, which addresses the paint under the focus space, material and color. The research procedures such as collage and assemblage become relevant by the emphasis given to assembly procedures and combination of materials from different contexts. The concept of bricolage formulated by anthropologist Claude Levi-Strauss (1962) and brought to the context of the arts by semiotician Jean-Marie Floch complements the conceptual aspect of bonding and the assemblage as strategies for reconstruction of meanings. The Visual Semiotics, which has as a reference the author A. J. Greimas (1984), is one of the pillars of this theoretical work, which deals with the work of art as a text and favors make interpretative and the point of view of the subject in the construction of the research object.
