Aplicações do estudo do cálculo integral no nível básico de ensino associado à resolução do cálculo de áreas de figuras planas

We present a short re ection of what are the Di erential and Integral Calculus. We start from the inicial idea of elementary plane gure's area and ampli ed the scope of our discussion for the approximate calculation of the disk. By building various mathematical tools, we were able to demonstrate results already expected and presented the calculation of basic gure's areas with an alterantive approch, and also discussed ways to obtain areas for regions wich are not trivial for a high scoll student. The use of these tools is made itself necessary continuosly for those working with current technology and is each day more required in their insertion into society, in a less fearful and desmysti ed way.
