In the context of structural changes in journalism, which are accentuated from the 1990s, information services streaming gathers multiple temporalities. To investigate the relationship between the various contents and the connections with the historical background of journalism, we conducted quantitative and qualitative research based on data from products Broadcast and Valor PRO, representative of the journalistic industry focused on the financial and corporate markets. As a result, we found the impact of the acceleration in the routines of production of news, particularly in the gatekeeping process, with the challenge of maintaining the accuracy of the information published. The research focused on the real-time coverage and the complementary role of interpretive and opinion content in these information services. With the theoretical framework of the study Newsmaking and journalistic genres, we discuss the changes in the journalist's role and reflections in the professional culture. Key-words: journalism; structural changes; real time; Newsmaking; journalistic genres.
