The Budong-Budong language is spoken in Tabolang Village, Topoyo District, Mamuju Regency, West  Sulawesi Province. Based on the results of the research of vitality in 2011, this language fits into the category of endangered. The purpose of this research is to describe the morphological system, particularly the Budong-Budong language prefixation system. In addition, the description of the prefixation system is compiled as a form of documenting the Budong-Budong language from the threat of extinction. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with library research techniques and interviews. The results obtained from this research are the word formation process in the Budong-Budong language through prefixation. Prefixes in Budong-Budong include of prefixes ma-, mapa-, mampa-, mampaka-, pu-, pi-, tu-, and prefixes i- or na-. Abstrak Bahasa Budong-Budong dituturkan di Desa Tabolang, Kecamatan Topoyo, Kabupaten Mamuju, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Berdasarkan hasil kajian vitalitas pada tahun 2011, bahasa ini berada pada kategori  terancam punah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan sistem morfologi, terutama sistem prefiksasi bahasa Budong-Budong. Selain itu, deskripsi prefiksasi dalam sistem morfologi ini disusun sebagai upaya untuk mendokumentasikan bahasa Budong-Budong dari ancaman kepunahan. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif inferensial dengan teknik wawancara dan perekaman. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah proses pembentukan kata dalam bahasa Budong-Budong melalui prefiksasi. Prefiks dalam bahasa Budong-Budong meliputi prefiks ma-, mapa-, mampa-, mampaka-, pu-, pi-, tu-, dan prefiks i- atau na-.
