The 21st century skills are skills that have to be mastered by students in the globalization era. These skills are greatly determined the future lives of Indonesian generations. While, problem solving skill is one of the important skills of the 21st century. Therefore, this research focuses on 21st century problem solving skills. The development of 21st century skills for students will not succeed if the assessment used is not appropriate. Students will not get the right feedback to improve their learning. Besides, learning innovations will not succeed if the assessment used is not appropriate. In line with today's global challenges, this research develops an ICT-based assessment that not only measures students' cognitive skills, but also develops them. The assessment model was developed using the Edmodo-based website application. These assessment features can be accessed through the smartphone. This research was conducted through a Mixed Method. This study has produced an electronic assessment model for assessment for learning. The electronic assessment can improve problem solving skills, as an important indicator of 21st century skills.
