The aim was to compare the compressive strength of nanoparticle and suprananoparticle dental resins in Chachapoyas during 2018. Material and methods: The research was carried out using a quantitative approach, comparative, observational, prospective, cross-sectional and analytical applicative level. The sample universe consisted of 8 nanoparticle resin specimens and 8 suprananoparticle resins. In data collection we used the universal testing machine Metrotest as an instrument. The Shapiro Will test was applied to contrast the difference hypotheses, and then the parametric T studet test was applied, at a significance level of p <0.05 and a 95% confidence level. In the results: The nanoparticle resin has a higher resistance to compression with an average of 148.47 and the suprananoparticle resin had an average of 92.09 MPa. In conclusion Nanoparticle resin had higher compressive strength than compared suprananoparticle composite resin.
