KONYA'NIN KONAKLAMA SEKTÖRÜ ARZ YAPISI VE GELİŞİMİ

The aim of this study is to examine how the current accommodation supply facilities of Konya have evolved from past to present and to contribute to future plannings. Konya is a rich city in terms of tourism diversity. For this reason, the number of tourists visiting the city is increasing every year. In this context, the tourism data of Konya in post-2010 were examined. Based on the tourism statistics of Konya, the numbers of tourists visiting the city and tourism facilities and the availability of capacity facilities were compared. The results of the study show that Konya has a sufficient infrastructure for accommodation sector supply. Especially 3, 4, 5 star hotel and bed capacity is seen in the density. In addition, the results of the study showed that the incoming tourists did not stay in Konya for a long time. For this reason, in the final part of the study, some suggestions were made for tourists coming to Konya to make more accommodation and for the future of the accommodation sector.
