In this context, it is necessary and important to discuss the research on immigration, migrant entrepreneurship and especially Turkish migrant entrepreneurs. From this point of view, the main purpose of the study is to compile the results of studies on immigration, migrant entrepreneurship and immigrant entrepreneurs in different countries around the world. Literature review method was preferred in the study. According to the results, immigrants and immigrant entrepreneurs in the world are increasingly involved in world trade; they play important roles in shaping social and economic life. The transition from paid employment to entrepreneurship is becoming widespread among Turkish immigrants; Turkish entrepreneurs increase their influence not only in Europe and America but also in Asia. They are becoming an indigenous and important part of the local economy in many places in the world. The research details draw attention to the fact that migrant entrepreneurial activities can be considered as an effort to create a transnational identity.
