The retrieval of the surface profile of a reflector antenna\udis an important task, mainly for radio-astronomical applications. The\udmicrowave holography retrieves the reflector profile starting from a set\udof measured far-field data. The main stepof this technique is the\udcomputation of the induced currents on the reflector surface. This\udrequires the solution of a linear inverse problem which is strongly illconditioned.\udWe propose a new technique, based on the Singular Value\udDecomposition, for the solution of this linear inversion problem. This\udtechnique supplies a flexible regularization scheme, able to take into\udaccount also the noise level of the data. The proposed procedure has\udbeen tested on a number of different cases, with field data generated\udby a commercial software
