Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of weight loss programs with remote monitoring in the treatment of overweight and obese women. Methods: This is an integrative review. The articles were searched in the PubMed, LILACS and SciELO databases, using the following keywords: "Food and Nutrition Education" AND "Obesity/Obesity" AND "Weight Loss/Weight Loss" AND "Women/Women". We included original available articles, published from 2015 to 2020, in English and Portuguese languages and that met the objective of the study. Results: When analyzing the 09 articles selected, it is noticed that programs using mobile internet tend to present superiority in the promotion of weight loss. This is justified by the fact that the presence of feedback from participants is consistently scored in comparison with programs that use only face-to-face methods and that require greater temporal spacing between meetings. This pattern seems to favor the power of resolution in the intervention process. Final Considerations: Slimming programs with remote monitoring in the treatment of overweight and obese women corroborate to increase adherence and consequently can be included as a beneficial conduct to the weight loss process.
