This research presents an approach on the social trajectory of young people who are in compliance with the socioeducative measure of assisted freedom in the Center for Popular Community Education (COMVIVA) in the city of Caruaru, Pernambuco, due to their involvement in drug trafficking. Based on reports from the monitoring of the young people involved in this type of situation, from January to October 2017, the data were read in light of the content analysis. The results obtained in this research indicate that young people involved in drug trafficking are aged between 16 and 18 years old, are male, do not study or are late in school and are mostly brown or black. Their families are mostly run by mothers, have family incomes of up to two monthly minimum wages, have never undertaken any type of vocational course, work in underemployment or even work.
