The genus Isadia was described by A.V. Minikh for ray-finned fish (Osteichthyes: Eurynotoidiformes: Eurynotoidiidae) from the Upper Permian of Russia (Minikh, 1986). The grylloblattid insect genus of the family Tunguskapteridae has been described under the same name Isadia from Isady locality (Upper Permian of Vologda region, Russia) (Aristov, 2009). Later the family Tunguskapteridae was transferred to order Reculida (Aristov, 2015). Here I propose a new substitute name Issadiella nom. n. pro Isadia Aristov, 2009 (non Isadia Minikh, 1986) in accordance with Article 60 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN, 1999).
