The identity of man revealed “before the foundation of the world” (Eph 1:4). The article is an attempt to show the question of the identity of man from the perspective of the Letter to the Ephesians. The multitude and diversity of questions discovered during the process of its interpretation resulted in composing the following sequence of themes: arising “before the foundation of world” of the created identity of man; temporal-spacious determine of the dialogical process of anthropogenesis; hope of immortalising the identity of man in the identity of his Creator revealed through the self-transmission of God.
