In the article, the specifications for cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and Poland are analysed through the topic of activity of NGO’s. Thanks to their commitment of permanent cross-border cooperation, another important element of the integration process is possible, and relations are able to optimize the use of potential opportunities and take over border regions. The analysis was focused on the Polish-Ukrainian borderland, taking a forward-looking perspective of conditional cooperation in the future. The organizing activities of the Polish diaspora in Ukraine, including local conditions, were of particular interest.
