The XXI century is characterized by an evolving environment that requires continuous adaptation. Both business competition and competitiveness are high and therefore, universities have to be sure their pupils not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also develop certain skills that guarantee long term success. This work identifies some factors that may constrain or inhibit the learning process in university students and describes a practice called “The Card Manufacturing Game”, which minimizes the effect of those inhibitors. Results help us to conclude that “The Card Manufacturing Game” may assist senior students of Business Bachelor Degree to improve the way they assimilate the theoretical concepts acquired in different business courses (marketing, operation and business management). Moreover, this learning practice helped the students to develop several valued skills in the professional environment, such as team working, knowledge management, planning, innovation, and responsibility, among others.
