The present work has as objective to report the practices and the challenges found in the day to day of the teacher of Higher Education. The study and analysis of didactics, understanding it in its definition, use as well as contribution to better practice focused on higher education, and the teacher nowadays needs to use different methods and criteria to transmit knowledge to students in a complete and Meaning, seeking an innovative methodology, mediator, working the reality experienced by them. The university professor conveys in his teachings to his students the way he has learned, but for this it is necessary for teachers to understand what it is to teach, and especially to differentiate from learning, since the teacher at the same moment that teaches also learns from the realities And experiences of his students. It is fundamental that the teacher is aware that it is his duty to teach with excellence, to transmit his classes in a pleasant and meaningful way, not only mechanically, but using different means to enrich his classes and consequently the students to build their knowledge. The teacher needs to have a different look at education nowadays, since technology is an important educational tool and needs to be added to the teacher because it deals with the importance that technology means to young people for leaving them Connected with the world at a single touch.
