The purpose of this study will describe the existence of women considered to have limitations, always marginalized or marginalized, both in the family and community. In all fields, women are considered to be less capable than men, as in the social, educational, political, economic, and organizational fields. Women in Javanese culture are only as a complement to men, namely serving in the kitchen, wells, and mattresses. That is, the position of women does not have an important role in life, the task of cooking, washing, and accompanying men while sleeping. It is this attitude towards women that has led to the movement to equalize women against men. The movement was called feminism. Feminism is one of the movements that emphasize gender equality between men and women (Wiyatmi, 2012: 9) as a result of unfair treatment of women who experience misery, even sitting far below men (Djajanegara, 2003: 27 ). The problem in this research is how to form the injustice of women's image in the novel Midah Si Manis Bergigi Emas by Pramodya Ananta Toer. The purpose of this study is to describe the image of the main character and find out the relationship between the main character and the opposite sex. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques, such as library, reading, and note-taking techniques. The results of this study can be used as input in supporting and driving school literacy and as an offering material for teacher teaching materials in literacy learning.
