Research on the utilization of marigold and ornamental plants to the arthropods population in paddy rice plant to know arthropod population in paddy rice plant by utilizing refugia plant as natural enemy stopover place and as source feed natural enemies. The purpose of this research is to know the role of refugia that is marigold interest ( Tagetes erecta L.), and ornamental nuts ( Arachis pintoi ) as natural enemy microhabitat, in the effort of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in rice cultivation. This research was conducted for 5 months, starting from November 2017 until March 2018, located at Antirogo Village, Sumbersari Sub-district, Jember Regency. This research was conducted using three plots of research field measuring 50 m 2 . The three plots of land were the first treatment of Marigold flower refugia, the second plot of refugia bean peanut treatment, and the third without the refugia. The data of the research were analyzed statistically by using t test. The results showed that the use of Marigold flower and ornamental plants on the arthropods population in rice planting crops found the highest natural enemy population is found in rice plant plot with 217 peanut refugia, with Marigold refugia natural enemies population of 156 while the lowest population of natural enemies is found plot of rice plants without refugia as much as 140. The use of marigold flowers and ornamental nuts affect the natural enemy population.
