The purpose of this study is to determine corn productivity with detasseling technique application and fertilizer ratio of phosphor and kalium on maize crop. This study was doing on August 2016 to December 2016 in a trial field was located in Kemuning Lor Village, District Arjasa, Jember, East Java. This study uses a randomized complete block design (RAK) factorial with 2 factors, 4 repetitions, and 6 treatments. The first factor is detasseling application that consists two levels, there are A1= detasseling, A2= nondetasseling. The Second factor is fertilizer ratio of phosphor and kalium that consists three levels, there are B1= SP-36 1,6 gr/plant dan KCl 1 gr/plant, B2= SP-36 2 gr/plant dan KCl 1,6 gr/plant, B3= SP-36 2,5 gr/plant dan KCl 2 gr/plant. Data was analyzed using ANOVA and then tested further by using Duncan Multiple (DMRT) level 5%. The result of this study indicates that treatment of detasseling application gives significant effect on weight of dry corncob per sample 203,05 gr, weight of dry cob without cornhusk per sample 174,75, cob length per sample 16,54 cm, weight of dry seed per sample 106,58 gr, weight of dry seed per plot 6607,33 gr. Application of detasseling was increasing harvest cobs of 6,01% and weight of dry seed per sample of 15% be compared nondetasseling. Meanwhile, the interaction between two treatments gives effect not significant on any parameters.
