Thermopowers of Silver samples with varying amount of twisting show-varying characteristics in respect of temperature variation and magnitude at low temperat ure, as reported in the literature. These character istics are interpreted in terms of dominating role of residual thermal resistivity caused by twisting. The interp retation of anomalous behaviors of Thermopowers of simple metal s t low temperature in terms of phonon drag effect is also tested in these cases and it is not found to be suitable.
