Legal Thought progressive by Satjipto Rahardjo is the result of long thought that the application of the legal system in Indonesia is always static, corrupt, and does not have a structural bias against the law living in the community. The law in Indonesia has lost its social base, multicultural base and enforced centrally in building the legal system. Major challenges the power of the progressives is assured that there is a systemic problem and structured in building a state of law paradigm in Indonesia. Therefore, progressive law can serve as a paradigm in the development and enforcement of law in Indonesia.
