Perfil epidemiológico de las atenciones en emergencia del Hospital Básico de Machachi en el año 2018. Estudio descriptivo para determinar la pertinencia de la atención brindada

espanolIntroduccion: El servicio de emergencia del Hospital Basico de Machachi presenta una gran demanda lo cual causa el congestionamiento del servicio y de el resto de servicios del hospital en general superando la oferta tanto de camas hospitalarias como profesionales, el presente estudio se lo realiza para poder establecer cuales son las principales causas de consulta al servicio de emergencia y determinar el porcentaje de las mismas que ameritaban un tipo de atencion especifica por el servicio y obtener un perfil epidemiologico de las patologias que se atienden en la emergencia determinar el patron de utilizacion del servicio por la poblacion local y la relacion con variables demograficas con toda esa informacion brindar un instrumento de analisis para tomar medidas orientadas a optimizar el uso del servicio por parte de la poblacion con un adecuado y eficaz manejo de los recursos del hospital Objetivos: Establecer el porcentaje de atenciones en el servicio de emergencias del Hospital Basico Machachi entre enero y diciembre de 2018 que eran pertinentes de acuerdo a la clasificacion de triaje usada en la institucion. Metodos: Estudio epidemiologico descriptivo transversal. Base de datos con informacion obtenida de la revision de los formularios 008 de atencion de emergencia de todo el ano 2018 en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Basico Machachi para clasificar la atencion como emergente o no emergente de acuerdo al sistema de triaje de Manchester. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive epidemiological study. Database with information obtained from the revision of 008 forms of emergency care throughout the year 2018 in the emergency service of Machachi Basic Hospital to classify care as emergent or non-emergent according to the Manchester triage system.
