The general objective of the research is to determine the effectiveness of strategies for conflict management and resolution based on negotiation directed at middle managers of the public administration of Ecuador. An explanatory study was carried out with a quasi-experimental design. The g3 represents the experimental group in post test, which indicates that it has a bilateral significance of, 163 which, being different from 0, combined with the rest of the groups studied, is cataloged that there is a significant difference, which implies that the treatment applied had positive effects on the population sample. Managers who participated in the experimental group are able to assertively handle the different conflicts that may arise in the organization, using techniques and strategies for deterrence of negative events, through negotiation, mediation and dialogue as generators of a synergistic work environment.
