Mejoramiento continuo y gestión de compras de las empresas participantes en el proyecto AUTOGAS PDVSA

The research was of a descriptive correlational type with the aim of determining the relationship between continuous improvement and purchasing management of the companies participating in the AUTOGAS PDVSA project in Falcón, Venezuela. When applying the Pearson correlation test, there is a significance of 0.257 and a correlation of, 165 categorized in a moderate positive correlation, which implies that both variables interact with each other for mutual benefit. The bidding process to participate in the realization of the AUTOGAS project requires the deepening of the culture of continuous improvement, this allows to grow collectively at the business level, because the companies involved must improve not only their offer, but also the quality of the processes that make the offer possible, being necessary to promote in the participating operators the commitment to grow and be better every day.
