If one takes into account that the essence of Nursing is care, special attention should be paid to this aspect, when implementing training programs for health personnel, specifically nurses. This, especially if the processes of teaching, learning and evaluation are accompanied by the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT ) and by the implementation of strategies in which processes and procedures are simulated, in favor of the safety of patients, their families and of the caregivers. This paper seeks to identify aspects related to the use of ICT and the use of strategies that involve simulated processes in learning environments for the education and training of Nursing personnel. A compilation of some topics relevant in the preparation processes of the mentioned personnel was made. The information was collected by means of the bibliographic search in academic and scientific databases such as: Dialnet, Google Scholar, Scielo, Science Direct and PubMed and in repositories of specialization theses, master's degrees and national and international doctorates. Descriptors in Spanish such as educational research in nursing, use of ICT, humanization of ICT, health technologies, nursing care, were used. On the other hand, the following English descriptors were employed: humanization of ICT, ICT in nursing education, nursing education, simulation. The window of search covered a period between 2005 and 2017. It is important to mention that there may be investigations that were not included in this bibliographical review and, nonetheless, they are still important to the topic addressed here. This collection then allows to recognize two main topics, the first is the use of ICT in the training of health personnel and the second is the use of learning strategies that involve simulation in the training of Nursing personnel.
