According to energy demand, since 1973 world production of electricity has increased on average by 3.4% per year. In recent years, however, the total electricity generation was realized by renewable energies just reach 2.1%. Actually, Colombia is carrying a process of appropriation, divulgation and implementation of renewable energy use, in order to transport electricity to isolated zones, producing an important improvement of the quality of life and mitigate the environmental impacts. Through complementary formations and technicians, the CTDPE encourage the improvement of technical installation and design of photovoltaic systems. developing comprehensive procedures and processes that allow these facilities according to colombian law.
