Community-based rehabilitation (CBR) is a WHO-endorsed strategy for rehabilitation, poverty reduction, equalisation of opportunities and social inclusion of people living with disabilities. Inspired by participatory development approaches, CBR is designed to work by including people with disabilities in existing services as well as by creating new interventions.
