The aim of this study is determination of factory planners and planning obtaining of their professions, level of graduate, knowledge about factory planning, and their working techniques in case furniture and solid wood chair industry. For this purpose, the method of questionnaire or interview is used. Questionnaire was prepared for factory owners and company’s advisors. As a result of this study, it is fact that the necessities of industry were not taken into account as scientific and obtained effective roles that required for modern manufacturing techniques do not correspond in this furniture industry.
