In Brief Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of morbidity andmortality in patients with diabetes. Consequently, proper screening anddiagnosis of CAD is crucial for the prevention and early treatment of coronaryevents. This review explains the variety of diagnostic exams available for theidentification of CAD in patients with diabetes and will assist health careproviders in determining the appropriate diagnostic tool for each patient.
