Anti-insulin antibodies induce immunological insulin resistance and poor diabetic control in insulin-treated diabetic patients. Recently, the prevalence and levels of anti-insulin antibodies have remarkably decreased as a consequence of the purity of insulin preparations and human insulin (1).
