This paper extends recent efforts to generalize Lotka’s integral equation to the case of a multiregional population that experiences internal migration. It develops the concept of a multiregional net maternity function and considers the relationships between a multiregional population’s schedule of fertility, mortality, and migration and its stable growth properties.
